Public Safety and Emergency Management protects the safety and well-being of the Pitt community with a team of over 100 commissioned Pitt Police officers at the Pittsburgh campus, with public safety oversight for Pitt’s Bradford, Greensburg, Johnstown and Titusville campuses. The team also manages environmental health and safety, emergency planning and integrated security departments at the University, on duty 24/7.
